We did it! Twist Museum has officially welcomed its one millionth visitor.
Since opening our doors on Oxford Street in 2022, one million curious minds have stepped inside Twist to experience the unexpected, challenge their senses and discover just how differently we can all see the world.
From families and friends to couples, school groups and visitors from across the globe, every person who has walked through our doors has brought their own unique perspective to Twist.

At Twist Museum, we believe no two people experience the world in exactly the same way.
That’s because what we see isn’t always as straightforward as it seems. Our brains are constantly interpreting information from our senses, which means the same illusion can create completely different reactions from one person to the next.
Some people spot the trick immediately. Others are completely baffled. Some laugh, some stare in disbelief and some leave still trying to work out exactly what happened.
That’s what makes Twist so special.
Since opening, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming an incredible variety of visitors, including:

Meet Our Millionth Visitors 🎉
Of course, we couldn’t let our millionth visitor walk through the doors without celebrating in true Twist style.
To mark this incredible moment, we surprised our one millionth visitor with a family holiday for four to Lapland, an unforgettable Arctic adventure complete with the chance to see the spectacular Northern Lights.
Their adventure includes a husky safari, snowmobile experience and a visit to meet the reindeers, as well as flights, accommodation and more.
It was our way of turning an incredible milestone for Twist into an unforgettable moment for one very lucky family.

Unlike a traditional museum where you simply look at what’s around you, at Twist you’re part of the experience.
Change size before your eyes in the Ames Room, defy gravity in the Falling Up Room, sit down with multiple versions of yourself at the Clone Table and step inside immersive spaces where colour, light, sound and perspective aren’t always quite what they seem.
Along the way, you’ll discover the fascinating science behind your senses and find plenty of opportunities to capture photos that might leave everyone else wondering: how did you do that?
